My brother-in-law,Sam,was very nice to us. Since my husband died suddenly 17 years ago,he took over the responsibilities of fixing and repairing my house. Every time he came to visit he would ask,“What can I do?”Because of that I started to make a “to do”list for him whenever something broke. We can see his work through out the whole house,the barn,the garage and the screen house. He also trimmed the trees,fixed my mailbox and the sign in front of my house.
He also treated my mom like his own mom. They liked each other so much. He had lots of patience trying to talk to her and spending time with her whenever he came to visit. My mom passed away just 3 days before him. It’s somehow comforting knowing that they’re together and keeping each other company now.
I miss him a lot.
